14 days of Aphrodisiac Dishes -#4 Salmon Kabobs with Mustard and Dill

Mustard, a potent aphrodisiac that stimulates the appetite and blood circulation.
If ingested in large doses it could warm your whole body. Its intense spicy-hot flavor will get your adrenaline going.  Salmon kabobs done  I created this recipe using also another aphrodisiac, the deeply flavorful salmon. It contains high quality protein, phosphorus, and Omega-3, which are nutrients known to propel the libido.

Here are our ingredients:

Fresh salmon, preferably a thick fillet.

Spicy brown mustard.

The juice of two limes.

Garlic.

Cherry tomatoes. I used about four per skewer.

Dill, one small fresh spring.

Cut the salmon into ¾ inch cubes.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Salmon_season with salt and pepper

For the marinade, let me introduce to you, Mr. Molcajete. I love this guy! He needs to have his own photo, isn’t he cute?

Ok, back to the recipe. Please grind the garlic.

Add the lime juice and ground garlic to a bowl.
And one teaspoon of mustard.

Whisk.

Add three tablespoons of Olive Oil and whisk again.

And finely, chop the dill leaves. About one tablespoon.

Add the dill to the marinade.

Whisk some more until all the marinade ingredients are blended.

Save about ¼ of the marinade and pour the rest over the salmon cubes.

Make sure they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes. ONLY 10 minutes, no more, we don’t want to make seviche.

Thread the cubes of salmon on kabob skewers.

Alternating with the cherry tomatoes.

Broil for 10 minutes turning once. Or until salmon is cooked through to an internal temperature of 150°F.

Meanwhile, cook the ¼ of the marinade reserved, adding ¼ cup of table cream.

Season with freshly ground pepper. Add salt, only if needed.

Serve with white rice.
